Spring 2025 at Faith-Based Yoga: Devotions on “The Art of Everyday Worship”
The arrival of spring in Tennessee never gets old. I have lived mostly in Colorado where snow storms are possible into April and May and the dry climate sees the first blooms around Easter. Spring in Tennessee feels so exciting every year when the daffodil and pink magnolia blooms emerge at the end of February! Spring truly brings me so much hope and encouragement.
I love incorporating seasonal devotions into our Faith-based Yoga classes that bring our attention to seasonal changes around us and seasons of the heart.
This spring, we are spending time in Ruth Chou Simon’s devotions from her book “Beholding and Becoming: The Art of Everyday Worship.” Her themes around what we are beholding (giving our attention to) and what are becoming are perfect for meditating on in ordinary moments like our Christ-centered yoga practice.
Faith-based yoga is every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Family YMCA. Our class is about 50-55 minutes and all experience levels are welcome for intentional movement and mindfulness.
Hope to see you in class soon!
